I have been visiting the Mid-Western Artifact Society message board since this one went dark, and I am amazed at the member exchange about all things treasure hunting/metal detecting.  They are just one club, but they are very vocal, very active, and they share ideas and stories.

Given the FMDAC's supposed reputation and stature, this website and this forum should be ten times more active, but alas the officers are just too damn busy to participate.  As a result the members simply find other places to talk shop. What a damn shame.
